Barbara is the Senior Global Privacy Director & EU DPO for IQVIA, based in Spain. She oversees European data protection compliance and strategy, drawing on over 16 years of experience in global privacy. Barbara also contributed as a privacy researcher for the University of Toronto and served as in-house counsel in Toronto and London.

Isabelle Roccia, CIPP/E, is the Managing Director IAPP Europe. She leads the IAPP’s growing Brussels office and engages with senior industry leaders, policymakers, regulators and civil society. With nearly 30 years of experience in software development, quality & security management, he is currently involved in the compliance checking of personal data processing for the French Health Sector, subject to authorization by the CNIL.

Victoria Watts, Premier-Research

Victoria is the VP of Privacy & Global DPO for Premier Research, in the UK. She is responsible for overseeing Premier Research’s global Data Protection Strategy and implementation to ensure compliance. She is also a key contributor and lead editor to the European CRO Federation (EUCROF) initiative to draft a GDPR Code of Conduct for the clinical research industry.

Olivier Breillacq, Octopize

Olivier Breillacq is the Director & Founder of Octopize, a startup specialized in data anonymization. He believes that the GDPR is not a constraint but an opportunity to use “data ethically” and move towards a radical change in data governance for the benefit of all, with respect for everyone. Yoanni Th. MATSAKIS is the founder & CEO of Telemedicine Technologies, a company specialized in e-health and IT solutions for clinical trials.
